Training History
Our instructors have spoke at numerous Pro/USER conferences around the country. Design Engine's partial history of on-site training sessions with partial descriptions below. The images at the very bottom was created by three week comprehensive students in the Pro/SHEETMETAL workshop. examples of Pro/ENGINEER's "Form Feature" function. If you hit reload, a new image will appear in the spot just below. Images range from Alias, CDRS to Pro/ENGINEER models and renderings.

  Partial Training History
NASA, Dr Scholls, Motorola, Polaris, ,SRAM Corp, Makita, Medtronic, NCR, Nortel, Guident, Caterpillar, US Steel, Herbzt Lazar Bell, Ignite Product Design, Product Development Technologies, Beyond Design, Skill Bosch Powertools

.
  Medtronic
Memphis, TN
Various 16 hour Pro/SURFACE workshops

Skill Bosch Powertools,
Chicago, IL
Various 16 hour costomized Pro/SURFACE courses.

  Guidant Corporation,
St Paul, MN
Conducted advanced Pro/SURFACE instruction using real world examples with our proprietary Web based tutorials.

Illinois Central College,
Peoria, IL
Various One Day workshops of basic Pro/ENGINEER instruction. Discuss plastics manufacturing and Pro/SURFACE.

  University of Chicago,
Lake Geneva, WI Yerkes Observatory;
Conducted basic Pro/ENGINEER instruction using Web based tutorials to scientists and engineers.

  SRAM Corp.,
Chicago, IL
Sram is a longtime client. We have done countless level one, one week workshops. Conducted multiple Level one thru four Advanced Pro/SURFACE workshops. Facilitated surface training using specific sample examples. Incorporated datum curve projections onto Solids so to create unique parametric controls similar to sanding with sandpaper. Discussed alternate techniques for importing Alias data into Pro/ENGINEER so as to incorporate parametric controls. Compared STEP to IGES transfer. The last portion of this class utilized specific examples from current troublesome modeling issues.

  Goldsmith Yamasaki Specht,
Chicago, IL (International Product Design)
Discussed alternate techniques for importing Alias data into Pro/ENGINEER so as to incorporate parametric controls. Administered Basic Training to Design Engineers.

  Motorola,
Boynton Beach, FL (pager group)
Administered Heavy User Training classes for various Pager Groups. Facilitated the functional change in styling from one completely finished housing (keeping the tool side) and refitting a different motif while still maintaining a nominal wall. Set up the various teams so that any changes to the cavity side of the Pro/E part will reflect to the design at hand. The Advanced Surface course discussed tips and techniques for forcing rounds and removing unwanted material as if using sandpaper within Pro/ENGINEER.

  Case Corporation,
Bur Ridge, IL
Administered and Conducted Advanced Pro/SURFACE evening open forum training classes. Worked closely with Mechanical Engineers and Designers while focusing on in-house Pro/E problems.

  Polaris Industries,
Roseau, MN
Administered and Conducted Advanced Pro/SURFACE training classes. Worked closely with Alias Designers while discussing importing IGES data into Pro/ENGINEER. Discussed different approaches and surfacing techniques. Discussed in detail how to redefine import geometry within Pro/E.

  Motorola,
Libertyville, IL (Industrial Design Department)
Discussed alternate techniques for importing Alias data into Pro/ENGINEER so as to incorporate some parametric controls.

  Pro Engineering Consultants,
Jupiter, FL
Administered and trained staff instructors so that they might offer Pro/SURFACE classes in the future.

  Reid Tool,
Houston, TX
With Parametric Technology Corp's Houston office, administered Advanced Surface instruction while modeling a drill forging. Many seats of Pro/ENGINEER rested on the proper modeling of this drill forging. After assisting implementation of this forging, provided Advanced level training to several key engineers.

  Alps Manufacturing,
Long Beach, CA
Provided instruction on importing surface data and recreating solid geometry for improved polydome technology on the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard. After assisting implementation of the new designs, administered Intermediate level training to several key engineers.

  BNR-Northern Telecom,
Research Triangle Park, NC
Administered instruction on Basic Pro/ENGINEER. Course designed around current projects. Basic Pro/SHEETMETAL classes ran concurrent. Facilitated Engineering staff with Pro/ENGINEER software expanding on proper modeling techniques.
