Pro/SURFACE Level 1 Workshop
Prerequisite: 300 hours minimum experience with Pro/ENGINEER
Days/Hours: 2 Days/16 Hours Weekdays or Weekends $900.00 US

This more advanced introduction to surfacing workshop takes off where the Rand and PTC course a called "Designing w/ Surfaces" offered by Rand and PTC training leaves off. This course has less emphasis on extruding and sweeping surfaces (which you should know how to do with solids before taking this class) and more on Advanced Boundary surface creations. Workshop goes over Datum curves, Variable section sweeps, Merging surfaces, Extending surfaces, Surface Analysis, Ensuring tangency between neighboring surfaces, Creating solid features from surfaces, other helpful tips and tricks. Other items ... blended, swept, revolved, flat, surface by boundaries. Upon completion of this course, each participant should be able to create and manipulate fairly complicated surface models made up of curves and surfaces. Click HERE to learn more about the available tutorials.

  Advanced Pro/SURFACE Level 2 Workshop
Prerequisite: Level 2 Surface Workshop or 6 months prior use of Pro/SURFACE
Days/Hours: 2 Days/16 Hours Weekdays or Weekends $900.00 US

Discuss different surfacing styles and techniques. Learn to create and modify conics, splines, datum curves, and datum points; discuss building surfaces from those curves. Manipulate a curve through points using nurbs modeling techniques (TWEAK). Merge, trim, transform, replace and extend surfaces. Create solids and cuts using surfaces. Utilize new skill sets to sand off or smooth out solid material from problem areas and to force rounds. Advanced Pro/SURFACE users will learn to build surfaces from more robust curves. Learn to eliminate isoparms and discuss tangency issues. Course can be tailored to specific examples, or involve manipulation of Alias or Pro/DESIGNER models as IGES or STEP data. Surface information, Click HERE to learn more.

For an overview of Pro/SURFACE & to learn more about the Pro/SURFACE and what makes our Pro/SURFACE training so unique... go HERE. Pro/SURFACE Level 3 Workshop
Prerequisite: 'Level 2 Workshop' or serious prior use of Pro/SURFACE
Days/Hours: 2 Days/16 Hours Weekdays or Weekends $1200.00 US Cost of this course is negotiable with more than one student enrollment.

This course is highly customizable and is usually administered One on One. This workshop is highly recommended to those looking to get CEP certifications.

Although class examples are reinforced using models within Pro/E, part of this class discusses technique for building plan of attack and uses a white board. Discuss alternate surface creation techniques from more robust curves. Learn to eliminate (or use as advantage) isoparms/isolines and discuss tangency issues in depth using examples of difficult surface anomalies with control points and without. Discuss Variable Sweep surfacing techniques problems and workarounds (tangency related to Variable Sweep). Discuss and evaluate order of surface feature creation. Discuss the foam model evaluation process and offer several starting examples on how to initiate the surface modeling process. Discuss building surfaces from Graph features.

Offer insight for leaving parametric controls so others later can spot the parametric handles easily and modify your models. Participants can take home web and PDF based tutorials to re-create after the class. Course can be tailored to specific examples or involve manipulation of Alias or Pro/DESIGNER models. This course is perfect for Industrial Designers and Product Design Engineers looking to work with Industrial Designers. Click HERE to learn more.

'Intro to Import' Level 4 Pro/SURFACE Prerequisite: some experience with Pro/ENGINEER helpful but not necessary.
Days/Hours: 2 Days/16 Hours Weekdays or Weekends $1000.00 US

This workshop has been specifically designed to work with Pro/DESIGNER, Rhino or Alias Surface imports -  seamless or otherwise. Course can be tailored to specific examples or involve the Pro/E manipulation of Alias, Rhino or Pro/DESIGNER models. Basic import functions and discuss problems with examples. This course can be customized to any skill level, but this specific workshop is perfect for Industrial Designers and Product Design Engineers who use Alias or Pro/DESIGNER or some other Surfacing package on a hi-level, but require importing that data into Pro/ENGINEER for a final deliverable. Pro/ SURFACE - ISDX Courses
ISDX is the new surfacing module from PTC.  It is quite revolutionary in that it combines push and pull like efforts of Alias or Rhino and gives those like functions to designers and engineers inside Pro/ENGINEER.  These superfeatures as they are called are powerful and robust and gives all the benefits of parent child relationships and extra ordinary modifiability Pro/E users have grown to appreciate.
We do not sell the software, we only teach it.   With that in mind, we would like to say that this ISDX addition to Pro/SURFACE is the most revolutionary functionality to surfacing in 5 years.
